APX-Serie - Next Generation Access Points
Although Next Generation has become a bit of a buzzword for new Sophos products, the brand new APX series is indeed a step forward. Of course, the APX 740 is equipped with the latest technologies, such as the Wave 2 standard. In terms of performance, it even doubles the performance of its predecessor, the AP 100.
With the APX series, Sophos also introduces the first access points that are security heartbeat-enabled and can benefit from Synchronized Security.

Apx 740 Review
If you buy a Next Generation Access Point, you must be aware that it will only work with the latest technologies from Sophos! The Sophos APX 740 is compatible with Sophos Central Wireless 2.0, an SG Firewall (running UTM 9.700 or higher) or an XG Firewall (at least SFOS 17.5.5)! If you cannot meet these requirements, you can still use the old Sophos access points at the moment. These will not be removed from the line-up for the time being.

Sophos Apx 740 Datasheet
The APX Compact pistol extends the proven APX Series to a concealed carry friendly size. It features a 13+1 (9mm) or 10+1 (.40 S&W) flush fit magazine and can accept the Full/Centurion size APX magazines as well. As with all APX pistols, the Compact has been designed specifically for military and law enforcement users who have a need to carry concealed but want similar handling characteristics to their duty pistols. The APX Compact features an end user removable serialized chassis and can be easily modified with replaceable grip frame housings. Controllability and ergonomics are an APX focus: Low bore axis, ambidextrous slide catch, reversible magazine release, aggressive slide serrations, and a trigger that breaks at 6 lbs with a clear tactile and audible short reset.
